We collect information you provide when creating an account: your name, email address, and password. When you subscribe to a paid plan, payment processing is handled by Stripe — we never store full credit card details on our servers.
We collect transaction and budget data you enter into the application. This data is stored securely and used only to deliver the service to you.

We use your information to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve Xudget
- Process subscription payments via Stripe
- Send service-related communications (invoices, security alerts)
- Analyze usage patterns to improve the product (anonymized only)
We do not sell your personal information or financial data to third parties.
3. Data Storage & Security
All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. We use industry-standard security practices, including regular security audits and access controls. Your financial data is stored in isolated databases with strict access policies.
4. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may request account deletion at any time, and we will permanently delete your data within 30 days. Backup copies may persist for up to 90 days before full removal.
5. Third-Party Services
Xudget uses Stripe for payment processing. Stripe's privacy policy governs how they handle your payment information. We also use Gemini AI for optional spending insights — anonymized transaction descriptions are sent to the API; no personally identifiable information is shared.
6. Your Rights

7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
